« Well, you get what you pay for. This is the least expensive hotel we found in the area. The beds were fine, clean and comfortable, and the room looked exactly like the picture. The floors of the room are tile and were very dirty. We could tell they tried to clean them at one point because you can see dirty water swirls on the floor. The chrome fixtures in the bathroom were dirty. The paint in the bathroom is cracking with large pieces of paint missing and flaking on the floor. Very bare bones...

« Excellent New Hotel — Great Stay! We had an excellent stay at the Hampton Inn in Cave City, KY. The hotel is brand new, and it really shows. Everything was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and in great condition. Our room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bedroom and a great king-size bed. The hallways are also noticeably wider and more spacious than many hotels, which gives the entire property a very open and comfortable feel. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of...

« Gary & Karin were the perfect host. The house is amazing with lots of character and great Victorian decor. Enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to make this a regular stop on our antique picking trips a few times a year. Thanks for your hospitality. »

« C’est un style vieillot, mais nous avons très bien dormi et les chambres sont propres. »

« Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. We enjoyed the brand new grill outside and also...

« Really enjoyed this room. It was clean and property was clean and well maintained. Only down side was the ac was VERY loud. Other than that no complaints. »

« Chambre petite pour une suite et pas tres propre »

« 2nd time we stayed there. Cherie is a great host! Lovely place! »

« Crickets in bed rooms. Management told me it was my fault for opening the door! Funny thing is when we first walked in the crickets greeted us . Pool water was dirty. Could not see the bottom. Didn't swim because we weren't sure the water was safe. Will never stay at Hotel Cricket" again. »

« Clean rooms, nice beds, a bit older but has character. Once I was able to get in contact with owners communication was seamless. Easy check in and out. Super close to the caves which make this place worth it! »

« The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. There is a difference however between old and old/dirty/unkept. The floor was covered in dead bugs, spiderwebs, and dust. There was someone’s old food in n the mini fridge. Also, we are...
